Additional Details about Fingernail Hygiene

You might not think you need detailed instructions for cutting fingernails, but here are a few additional helpful reminders.

1. Best practice is to sterilize your fingernail clippers *before* and *after* use. Isopropyl Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide will serve.

2. Make sure the clippings find their way into the trash. It's easier if you use a clipper tool that catches the clippings like these.

3. Wash your hands afterward.

4. Don't forget your toenails, too!
